I can't vouch for the VIC-1001, but I do know that the two-prong VIC-20 came 
with two different two-prongs. The larger one with wider pins is the more 
common one, but there exists another one with smaller pins. Quite possibly 
this is a heritage from the VIC-1001 model. I don't know if the other kind 
would be related to the Microgamma or Eurostile keyboards, actually I think 
they'd be randomly assigned at the start.
