haha - that reminds me how a handful small tools, which i had in "productive" 
use for 10+ years, literally exploded on me when i naivly moved my sourcetree 
to the newly bought powerpc-mac =) having at least one machine with "wrong" 
endianess at hand is very nice to spot such problems, indeed :) (and if you 
really are masochistic, you want one that has 16bit bytes/chars too =P)
