Ah that is nice stuff you're coming up with!
It seems that while I slept, the emulation has been fixed.
I think that since the version you mentioned that still worked, I've
added some assembler support in the VICE monitor (enter with Alt-H or
from the menu). It isn't finished yet because there is a yacc grammar
that tries to parse opcode operands for all 3 kinds of processor, and
that can't be stretched that far. "D,X" can be 4 different addressing
modes for the 6809 alone, and the grammar can't decide which one it is
without knowing the instruction (which it currently does not know at
that point). So that must be restructured first. But the modes other
than reg post, usr post and sys post should work.
