Concur.  I bought packs of small heat sinks that had a peel off back with a 3M adhesive from newegg, and they were so cheap that I ended up putting a heat sink on every chip in my SX-64 and my 128DCR.  On newegg they are marketed as being for VGA cards/chips.  I also added a super quiet fan where it is missing from the power supply on the DCR to exhaust out the rear, and kludged one to half-assedly circulate air (because I refuse to permanently modify the chassis) in the SX where it is almost certainly more important.
