It seems you don't know about the FE3 (Final Expansion 3), it is a cartridge that can simulate all VC20 RAM expansions plus 512kB Flash plus a SD2IEC SD card drive with Jiffydos fastloader support. You can put every software you have for the VIC20 onto an SD card and access it from a menu.
