I'd be interested too... I did play 'Edge of Disgrace' on a 6569R1. That 
demo has a lot of open border stuff and I didn't notice any obvious 
difference between the 6569R1 and later revisions.

It can be detected by software though, so maybe the better coders 
adjusted their code to it?
