to be able to extract a RRIOT ROM image exactly the same way as I did,
you need in fact my dumper, a Bash shell or compatible environment
(needs perhaps fixing the shebang line), a working OpenCBM installation
freshly fetched from the project repository and compiled subsequently
and of course a ZoomFloppy hardware with IEEE connector populated.

On the other side the core part of my dumper is the floppy side code and
the way it is uploaded (using buffer pointer, writing code to (user)
buffer 2) and then executed using Ux commands (pointing to the user
buffer #2). The shell script is just something someone can easily
translate into some basic commands.

It should be no problem to write a little Basic program that does
exactly this. If time is not the problem than the most easy way would be
to fecht a memory page from the floppy into the PETs RAM and then
sending that page back to the floppy, but into a file. A more elaborate
way would be to have the job code directly dump the ROM's contents into
a file previously opened.

Honestly, I left translating to main program of my dumper as a little
home exercise for all of you ;-)

But I'm willing to extend the dumper a bit as long as "the community" or
the archive at Zimmer's will receive some fresh and authentic ROM image
copies from all the floppy disk drives you own.
