Have a look at the c64 schematics (e.g.
http://www.zimmers.net/anonftp/pub/cbm/schematics/computers/c64/250469-rev.A
-right.gif). You see that the 9 VAC lines (white) go to the rectifier and
via - to GND. When the second white line have 0.5 VAC one diode from the
rectifier ist bad. Check this!
