I found an ISA card with four 8255's and 86 I/O lines. I soldered a
little board and used it to connect the Godil with it. A Pascal program
should now emulate the ROM and RAM of a small system where the Godil
should act as CPU. It never won't be as afast as a real 6502 system but
IMHO good enough to test the Godil as 6502, including cycle exactness.

It took me quite some time to understand ISE Webpack. Quartus II is IMHO
more user friendly and I could use it intuitively, almost W/O reading
the manual.
Gideon chosed for Xilinx because a) it was the best at that time and b)
his company was it using (for those reasons) too. And therefore he had
access to all the tools, hardware and software, to develop things.
