Well, one of my PETs has a (new style) Japanese graphics keyboard (and char
gen) and I know someone in Japan with a chiclet style Japanese keyboard, but
that's probably not what you're asking?

I do have pictures of both seomewhere FWIW.

and thats exactly what i am fixing right now - making proper menus to select
local (PC) keyboard mapping =)

ie, i am splitting it into a "PET keyboard model" selection menu and the
normal (common to all x-emus) "keyboard settings", where i am adding
predefined items similar to how the color palette items work.

so i guess having those 3 keyboard models is ok, and the confusion comes
from
the fact that the existing keymaps are not exactly what they should be (eg
the
"business(de)" mapping is made for a german PC keyboard - it should infact
be
for a UK/US pc keyboard and the mapping for the german one should be
seperate).

anyway, i think i got it now =)
