First of all, I need to see how many drives I can assemble. :-D

I'm afraid the drive mechs are in terrible need of alignment, or how
do you otherwise explain that one floppy disk formatted as DOS 1 in
one drive, returns all sorts of weird read errors (tracks 40, 64 etc)
in another drive? If I reformat the disk in the second drive, it works
fine in that one but will not work in a third mech.

By the way, would the power supply from a 8050 drive be compatible with
the power supply in a 3040 drive, considering voltages and connectors?
Frankly I haven't looked at it myself yet.

Best regards
