RE: 8088 card for CBM-II

Hi,

I had a 8088 board for CBM II at end of 1984 or beginning of 1985 but it
never really worked
The system was booting, I could issue a few msdos or cpm 86 command then the

System crashed.

I had cpm 86  (I forgot which version) and msdos 1.25

As far as I can remember they were still some prototype with timing
problems.

Hallo allemaal,


How rare are these cards? Have they ever been in production? Is there
software for available?
The reason why I ask is that two members found ten of these cards
including cables last week. And I was give one set :) Nice to have such
a card but it would be nicer having one that can be used. 

They also found the sources of the 8250 drive on paper. Unfortunately
for most of you, it is in German. But good enough for me to consider to
re-open my 8250IDE project. 'Consider' because lots of labour intensive
projects vs. lack of time.
