Oh yeah, that was also the last time we saw the "gold" 1 Millionth Vic-20.  Damm thing got paint all over the place from where the spray paint was flaking off.

It was a matter of how much stuff the lab technicians wanted to pack up, move, unpack and save.  I don't think any of us had a single thought about years down the road, we were too engrossed in surviving the week. I would love to have some of the chip plots that used to hang in my office or some of the original schematics that laid around.

I always wonder what happens to things like this.. I would guess like a company would want to preserve the "first" product of its kind by putting them in showcases at head office or something. Seems a shame to loose or just throw out something like that....  me sad.
