Hallo together and a happy new year!

Finally I made it and managed to create a working 65816 board for my CS/A computer. And in fact it runs a patched version of the PET "Fat40" ROM (which makes it eligible for this mailing list :-)

On its page on http://www.6502.org/users/andre/csa/cpu816/index.html you can see screenshots where a simple BASIC delay loop is sped up by about the factor 8.

The PET ROM actually works fine at 8 MHz, the "beep" when you start the computer becomes a very short chirp, but as keyboard scanning is done in the 50Hz screen interrupt, this still works too!

The only thing I could not yet test is IEEE488, as my lpt-ieee488 interface is currently broken...

André
