Aftermarket C64 power supplies

I'm wondering if anyone knows a good board layout or writeup on doing  
a replacement power supply that is more trustworthy, or maybe a  
writeup on modding a desktop PC PS.  I recently tested 5 power  
supplies here and found only one that is in range.

I'm also looking to buy an 82S100 PLA chip if anyone is selling.
