I recently got an 8250LP drive but it's the 220V version... I'm in Canada. I want to convert it to 110V input. I noticed the transformer (which is HUGE btw) has 4 wires feeding into it...

RED and WHITE power
GREEN = Ground
BLACK = Not used

So my questions... do the 110V and 220V versions use the same transformer? Might the BLACK wire be used on 110V versions to feed power in? Does anyone have both versions that can check the differences? It would be great if I could just swap two wires to do the conversion!

BTW, the power supply is HUGE and HEAVY. I actually connected a small switching power supply that delivers 5V @ 2A and 12V @ 2A and only weighs a few ounces and was able to power the drive no problem - reduced the weight of the drive by about 6 LBS (2.7 KG)...
