No. The ID given in 'N:xxxxxx,ID' is indeed the ID displayed in the
directory header but is also used for the ID in the block headers. 
But you reduced my concern about different ID's anyway. Which means I
can use the same floppy over and over again W/O formatting. But knowing
that the 1541 uses the ID in the header to identify a disk, I have to
initialise the disk after every copy to refresh the BAM in memory.
