VICE OS X native on 10.4 -- anyone using successfully?

Before I file a bug on sourceforge, I'm trying to find out if this is a local
issue. Is anyone out there using the most current VICE 2.1 on OS X 10.4.11
successfully? This is the native Aqua version, not the X11 one. It will start
up from scratch, but won't start up the second time unless I delete its
Preferences (it just hangs up with menus but no windows). It also seems to
be unstable if I mess with the audio sampling rate.

For comparison, this is a quad 2.5GHz G5 with 8GB of RAM, so it should have
NO trouble running it.

If people are running it successfully, I'll try to do more digging to see
what the difference is. For now, back to Power64 ...
