RE: 65816 long addressing in assembler

Hallo Cameron,

> I can tell you what xa does: right now, nothing.

That makes me happy :) I know, it sounds a bit stupid. But I have been
searching Internet for this item and didn't find any really satisfying
solution at all. WDC uses directives: 'long on' and 'long off'. Another
person did it by adding ':L' behind the label. My own solution was using
TWO labels, the original one and with preceeding with 'LA_'. 'lda
LA_label' then means using the long addressing.
I just wonder what the programmers used that made programs for the SCPU.

My idea is using a symbol preceeding the label, just like # is used to
tell the compiler that now the immediate mode is meant. Any idea, or
better, already used solution is welcome!
