As it currently is, sync is provided by separating it directly from the 
input videosignal (LM1881)... as it doesn't need to be joined with the 
color signals again (analog RGB, as found on SCART, needs separate 
sync), no further work is needed/done.

A microcontroller could be handy in doing the "opposite"... ie. getting 
rid of the sync-alike remnants from the RGB signals, put there by the 
TDA8362... in that case, the LM1881 could also be substituted by 
something simpler (as its extra capabilities won't be needed anymore). 
...Well, possibly...
