Why using 44c256's, or did I miss an email? IMHO you can replace the 4164's 
by 41256's.

Added later: just read Ullrichs email that confirms above statement.

I downloaded the ROM's and compared them. It aren't just a few bytes as I 
hoped for but complete pages :(
