Well, if we want Ruud's basic board (a smattering of 74LS and the IDE
connector), it looks like it would fit on a 2.5x2.5 board, which is 12
boards per 8x11 sheet, 2 sheets for $78.00 + shipping, or about $4.00 a
board, when all is said and done.

Now, Ruud's schematic he sent me differs from the one on the web site,
as this one has a 62256 and a 6116. If we need those, That halves the
board density, and we go to $8.00 a board.

If I go SMT, I might be able to get back down to 12 boards per sheet, or
20 boards without the RAM, but SMT is harder to solder.

Obviously, prices quoted are back of the envelope, and I could be off $1
or $2 per board.

Prices quoted are for non silk-screened, non-soldermask boards.

I use www.custompcb.com full panel service, if you want to check prices.

Jim
