Hi, All, I'm trying to finish debugging an old project, and I could really use a detailed map of zero-page usage for both BASIC 2 and BASIC 4 ROMs. I don't care at all about BASIC usage, but I care deeply about PRINT and PRINT # (and any attendant screen scrolling and IEEE I/O). With what I've found out there, I probably have a 99.5%-accurate understanding of zero-page usage, but I think I've reused one, or perhaps two, locations that I thought were safe, but in practice, appear not to be. Years and years ago (1978?), I used to have a printed listing in several columns (one per ROM revision) of each address and what uses it. It was handed to me on xeroxed typewritten pages, not xeroxed from a book, and might have been handed around from user-group to user-group. I would recognize it from its contents, but I have not had a copy myself in at least 20 years. I keep hoping a scan or OCR of it might turn up on funet/zimmers.net, but I've never seen it. If anyone can point me to any documents, it would help me put a decades-old-project to bed (and share with the world). Thanks for any tips, -ethan Message was sent through the cbm-hackers mailing list
