The first version of the superpet uses this board. I have one of this
version. What the schematics do not show is that there is wiring on the
Superpet board for three more 50 pin connectors. I have never seen one
with more than the one connector. I have never heard what the other three
connectors were intended for.
I once asked Commodore Technical Support what the 6702 was and what it
did. All I could get out of them was that it was a decoder. All other
questions were answered with "that is proprietary information".
The 6702 is connected to the address lines of both the 6502 and the 6809.
However, it does appear to be more complicated than an address latch.
