SpeedDOS represents more or less the "state of the art" when it comes
to parallel speeders w/o "extra RAM, CPU or others". Of course there
might be some differences among the implementations but - generally -
the next big step in speed is to add track buffer (i.e. extra RAM) to
the drive.
