The guy that I got the drive from mentioned the following (at least
for my drive - I believe that it also applies for the MSD .. note I
haven't used Star Commander so not sure if any of these apply):

- Can only do full tracks (no half track capability)
- (Your probably problem) - Has problems with any type of drive
accelerators (he mentions but doesn't say where - Is there a "slow"
drive patch for Geos? )
