Aaw! So, is there any logic explanation why an old hard disk that still
is accessible, can read and write files without much problems, would die
once you reformat it? If you have an IBM XT or something else with a
ST-412/506 interface, I suppose you could connect the Tandon 602S to
that machine and see if the drive itself still is functional.
