Well,

the problem is that I measure a 5mhz signal on the output of the
crystal, maybe some capacitors went nuts and altered the impedence of
the clock divider (although I cannot see anything on a mounted device,
I should de-solder the dammn thing..).
Definitively something wrong but not yet understood what.
