Hello,

I recently bought a P500, the seller said that i didn't know if was
working. That mostly means it doesn't work. So I opened up the P500 to
take a look inside. There was a very nice yellow sticker on the
motherboard with the following text: DEFEKT

The first thing I noticed was that all the RAM has been removed from the
motherboard (Desoldered)

I found on the schematics that this are dynamic RAM's 4864. My question is
now can I replace them with 4164's from a 64 (the pinout seems to be the
same.)

Also the Z80 socket is empty. Can I drop in a z80 or is this not neccesary
for the working of the P500.

Greetings Richard
