No. That snippet handles an error in the GPIB transfer itself.
Actually my program should handle read errors transparently, i.e. it
should display them on the screen while reading, and then go on, after
the given number of retries.
I'll have a look now at the version on my development machine, and send
you that one, so we know we're talking about the same program.
