Thanks, though I should probably clarify: I don't get any video at
all. My projector doesn't try to sync, and the 1901 doesn't react.
With a dead PLA or kernal ROM I should be getting a blank, black VIC
screen. I've ruled out the VIC and SID chips, since something is
sinking the 9 VAC to a fluctuating 2 VAC, and removing them didn't
change anything.
Could a dead 6526 cause the 9 VAC to go wonky?
