I agree with the Data Becker book (the german book states exactly the
same).

You seem to miss that the CR has always been output at $AB2D (JSR $AB47)
when "your" JSR is executed. With your change, a double CR would be
output. In case we also have LF, the output would be CR/CR/LF.

With the Data Becker suggested change, either CR or CR/LF will be
output.
