I will _try_ to try it... tomorrow.
I'm not sure I have transistors with enough bandwidth here at home.
But have no fear, on monday at work I can pick up some decent ones,
and a couple of 0603 resistors.
First we need to see if we can get a working mod, then someone has to
strip it down, so enough people can do the mod on their hacked DTVs.
So there you have it, a whole man-day of free hardware debugging for a
foreign corporation that doesn't want to know about the fault... ;)
