But on the C64 you have enough space for a table based decoder, which
is much faster than a 1541 bitshifter. The C64 side of the LÖ/MM/KM
irq loader typically spends half the time just waiting for the 1541 to
read and decode a new sector, so it makes sense to move more work over
to the C64.
