Which VIC-II revision? Does anyone have an earlier chip than 6567R5?
(Before anyone suggests the 6569R1, I do not believe that it predates
even the 6567R56A.) Could it perhaps be the 6566? Any UltiMax owners
here who would like to confirm or debunk this myth? While you are at
it, please also try if the 3 most significant bits in $d016 have any effect.
