Hello all,
I don't know if this topic has been discussed before; if so.. My
appologies.
The documentation of the SID chip of the C-64 lists the attack/decay and
release times that you can select. To investigate this, I saw that
release time is always 3 times as long as the attack/decay times (for
the same setting), but there seems to be no direct relation between the
index and the value; i.e. it's increasing, but nor linear, nor
exponential (it grows irregularly if you see it on a logarithmic scale).
Has anyone actually performed measurements to verify if these
"approximate values" are close to reality?
Gideon
