My (dutch!) manual of my (Dutch!) VC(!)-20 clearly labels it as the
"Vriendelijke Volks Computer". ("friendly people's computer"). Since
it is somewhat of a germanism, I can only assume that the German VC20
was labeled "Volkscomputer" too ;)
