But I'd prefer a direct sector dump of the disk. You can obtain one either with prlink or with André's dsk2file program (available from /pub/cbm/pet/archivers). The latter approach will need a disk device that will be able to hold the uncompressed image as one file. However, it would be rather easy to add file splitting to dsk2file.
